Scott started in the insurance industry in 1986 with the John Hancock Company. He was recognized as a top producer with the company in 1987 finishing 52 out of 7,000 agents nationally and number three on the East Coast. In 1988, he started with a Commercial Retail Agent and remained with them until 1991. That year, Scott started Hartzell Insurance Associates Inc with zero customers and zero companies. Since then, the business has grown to over 3,000 clients with insurance licenses in seven states. Scott approaches insurance through the eyes of an entrepreneur. Hartzell’s reputation is built on our client’s satisfaction. He specializes in many types of insurance products covering many different types of industries and has a Can Do attitude.

Amy has over six years experience in general office duties. At Hartzell, she is the receptionist and CSR Assistant in the Commercial lines area. And, is the agency representative for billing status.

Jason has over thirteen years in the insurance industry specializing in personal insurance products.
Ed Leo
Ed has over fifteen years in the insurance industry. His experience includes all aspects of insurance from business, to life, to health, and personal lines. He is able to present a complete suite of insurance products for both a client’s individual and company needs.
Jennifer Player
Jennifer has worked in the benefits area specializing in health for over four years. She serves both individual and group benefits clients from sales to service. In addition, she can provide ancillary products such as dental, life, short term disability, and long term disability programs for Hartzell’s clients.

With over ten years of commercial lines experience, Andrea specializes in restaurants, taverns, artisan contractors, auto repair/body shops, trash haulers, as well as others.
